To be eligible to hold a Florida Real Estate Sales Associate (Salespersons) License you must:

The State of Florida, Division of Real Estate requires each applicant to complete an application that includes submitting fingerprints. The application approval process can take up to 90 days to complete, however most candidates get approved in 4-6 weeks. It is perfectly acceptable to apply before starting the education process.
Once you have been approved by the State and you have completed the required education you are ready to call and schedule to take your state exam. The state exam is a computerized test offered at state approved testing sites throughout the state. A score of 75% is required to pass the state exam and to receive a real estate license.
EDUCATION PROCESS
Each applicant is required to complete a 63 hour, state approved, Salesperson pre-license course and successfully complete and pass the final course exam with a minimum score of 70%. The course is a comprehensive study of Florida real estate principles, practices, laws and real estate math.
